F.A.B. Sums it up nicely…….we wanted to do it, now we’ve done it we’re not happy….why? because we have to leave!! Loved the apartment/house. Very pleasurable stay enhanced by the welcome and hospitality of Mike and Fran. We’ll be sorry to leave this beautiful area where we have enjoyed the walking and the vistas. It’ll keep us going through the winter months. Hope to visit again at some future date.

At last we have found the Spain we want to see more of! Spanish lessons are now a must! Many thanks to Fran and Mike for letting us share their paradise. The supper and bonfire was a night not to forget, especially those stars. You were both wonderful hosts

First time in rural Spain and definitely not the last. Had some lovely walks (courtesy of Fran and her maps) Great hospitality from Fran and Mike and the villagers, especially in the local Bar. Lovely house and thank for the loverly barbie.Hope to return soon

Lovely, comfortable and relaxing time. Great swimming in the lake, excellent food in Fuenteherridos, walks around Linares valley. We had a dramatic storm but saved us from sunstroke for a couple of days. Thanks for your hospitality. Christine and John

A lovely time away from city and work life! Home from home. Where we could really relax and distance ourselves from ‘busy home’! Fran and Mike have been really good and made us feel welcome from the beginning. Fran – Food was great. Mike ‘Don’t get a donkey!’ Would like to think we will come back so it’s not goodbye, more like see you again soon. Great place!

We have really enjoyed our week in Corte, wonderful countryside, very comfortable accommodation, loads of memories and great food courtesy of Fran. Thanks once again Fran and Mike for the wonderful hospitality, your generosity and friendliness have yet again made a great holiday even more memorable. We weren’t at all disappointed with our second visit here which lived up in every way to the first.
We both really enjoyed the cookery lessons – we’ll be sure to email and let you know how we get on recreating those tasty dishes back at home!
Maybe next time we come back we’ll try a time when it is a little cooler so we can horse ride and walk more, and Phil definitely wants to come and play golf.

Our first trip to real Spain and it won’t be our last. Fantastic food, weather and people. Thanks for a fantastic place to stay and delicious potatoes, green peppers and courgettes straight from your garden…….The only night we ate in Keith made a fantastic tortilla with them

"The property was excellent value for money.Fran & Mike have thought of everything you would possibly want in a self catering property down to the very last detail. We felt we were treated more like friends than clients, given good information about the area taken on walks, social evenings within the village and the wonderful barbeque you held for us to finish our holiday week off, all this sums up what very kind& generous couple Fran & Mike are, we will certainly return especially to see Scoobs Fats & co!"

"Our stay at Evaristo Perez was part of a driving tour which took in stays in Granada, Seville and the Algarve. A hectic and wonderful time, but this part of the holiday was specifically designed to chill out - relax, read, catch the sun and do very little. Evaristo Perez was just right - we became reclusive and it was wonderful! Fran and Mike were perfect hosts - always concerned that everything was ok, always helpful and never intrusive. When we did venture out, we used the base to visit Cordoba and Jerez, plus the immediate countryside and the house was the perfect place to return. We would unreservedly recommend this property and hope one day that we might return. "

"Fran & Mike (the owners) were GREAT. (Sorry guys that this took so long to write - Sue's fault). It was everything we wanted, peace, quite, great comfort, no other English speakers, fantastic location and all capped off with great company. We miss Scooby Doo - the greatest dog in the world (we took him for a walk every night through the olive groves and finished off with a long cool beer at the bar on the entry to the village - forgot its name), fats - the fattest, laziest cat in the world and the others we also miss. Fran and Mike took us and introduced us to the locals in the main bar on the first night and finished our week with a barbecue (top stuff mike). The Sierra is a must see in your life time, and this is IDEAL to set off from. We highly recommend and hope to get back. Ah well Fran, back to the football............."

"Hola! Thanks guys! We had a great week. Sue was upset at the airport (saville) that we were leaving............Me, get me to the carling !!!!!! Fran, thank you. Mike, cheers. We had a great..........no, fantastic, break. And envy you. I (we) could go on and on, but the key was and is chill. We will be back. You have taught us both loads. Please, Please say hello to the village for us. Please say that 'us dirty english' are learning other ways - bit by bit. I fully entend to learn Spainish so Sue gets the right tablets..................................................... "We were fortunate to spend all of February in Evaristo Perez.All aspects greatly exceeded our expectations. The property was much more spacious than we thought from the web site and absolutely everything we could want had been provided. The welcome basket was especially appreciated after a long journey.Fran and Mike, our Hosts, were very special people and always available to ensure that we got the most from the very friendly village and the amazing range of entrancing walks. "My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Evaristo Perez. The property was spacious and very clean with everything you could want provided. "We had a fantastic week at Evaristo Perez. The house exceeded our expectations and Fran and Mike were fantastic, friendly and really helpful. They provided us with loads of information about the local area and activities both before we arrived and during our stay. As a result we managed to go hiking and horseriding. We also managed several trips to the nearby lake and a day at the coast. In addition their tips for food in the local village were great! This is a beautiful, undiscovered bit of Spain and we'd definetly visit again."

"Old property re-designed to be modern, spacious and airy but still retaining the charm of its original features. Very well equipped, including access to books and DVDs. Totally private, yet within the village. Friendly owners who will give you any help you need. Excellent tapas served by several bars in the village. Wonderful walking in the immediate vicinity and around Aracena."
